Craziest Thing I've Done: I was seeing a chef at a pub. One night while he was at work and we were hot and bothered, we snuck into the restaurant's cubic freezer, while the restaurant was actually open. Different guy, several years later, did it against the balcony railing on the 17th floor...could have fallen to my death and didn't.
Desired Location: Theres a flat. Its the top story of a building in Venice, one with hardwood floors and elegantly patterned glass skylights all throughout, illuminating the place with bright sunlight. Two balconies with glass doors join the windows on the sides and roof. The curtains are scarlet, the pillars and beams white cement, the bricks cream and the floors golden-brown. I looked at it every day from our apartment while we stayed there. In my imagination, theres a large, soft bed at the end of the room. To the left is a small kitchen area, to the right, a sitting room setup. The floor is open, the walls lined with artwork, streams of glass gems decorating the tops of the walls, catching the light and sending rainbows all over the room. Its warm and light, not huge, but perfect. If I could be anywhere, Id be in that bed. My boyfriend would be next to me, his arms around me, cheek pressed against my hair as we giggled and talked. There would be no parents, no school, no class, no life. Time would freeze as we stay huddled in that paradise. Eventually, one or both of us would get up to make breakfast or lunch possibly dinner, but then flee back to the comfort of the comforter and the others arms, food in hand. If I could be anywhere right now, doing anything, it would be that.
