Meaning of Life: I do not want to convince anyone of anything. Trying to convince another person is unseemly, it is an attack on their freedom to think or believe or to do whatever they want. I only want to teach, make known, show, not demonstrate. May each one arrive at the truth through his own steps, and may no one call him wrong or limited. (Who is who to say "this is so", if the history of humanity is nothing more than a history of contradictions and trial and error?) If I have to convince someone one day, that someone has to be myself. Convince myself that it is not worth crying, or grieving, or thinking about death. "Old age, sickness and death", of Buddha, are nothing but death, and death is inevitable. As inevitable as birth. The good thing is to live the best way possible. Fighting, hurting, caressing, dreaming. (But you always live in the best possible way!) As long as I can't breathe underwater, or fly (but really fly, by myself, with my arms), I will have to like to walk on land, and be a man, not a fish or a bird. I have no wish to be told that the moon is different from my dreams.
